Morningside College student Gabrielle Roe of Sioux City recently had an article published in the May 23rd issue of Tax Insider, a journal published by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

The article, “Taxation of Sexual Harassment Settlements Post-TCJA,” discusses the tax implications of nondisclosure agreements on sexual harassment settlements following the release of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017.

Roe is a business honors student planning to graduate in December 2019 with a public accounting major. She published the article under the instruction of her advisor, Mark Nielsen, an assistant professor of business administration at Morningside and a certified public accountant.

Roe is a 2016 graduate of East High School.
