Morningside College student named to Iowa Corn Collegiate Advisory Team
John Dieter, a senior at Morningside College, is one of 23 Iowa college students named recently to the Iowa Corn Collegiate Advisory Team.
John Dieter, a senior at Morningside College, is one of 23 Iowa college students named recently to the Iowa Corn Collegiate Advisory Team.
Members of the student advisory team will assist the Iowa Corn Growers Association and the Iowa Corn Promotion Board to develop programs and services for new professionals pursuing careers in agriculture and allied industries.
Dieter is a native of Carroll, Iowa, and a 2013 graduate of Kuemper Catholic High School. At Morningside, he is majoring in applied agricultural and food studies and in biology. In addition to being a member of the Morningside College Ag Club, Dieter also is completing a paid externship with Crop Production Services, Inc. in South Sioux City, Neb.
The Iowa Corn Promotion Board develops markets, funds research and provides education about corn and corn products. The Iowa Corn Growers Association lobbies at the state and federal levels on behalf of its more than 8,000 corn farmer members.
