Seven students from Morningside College recently attended Meet the Pros, an annual graphic design and advertising conference in Omaha, Neb.

The Morningside students who attended the conference were Jess Anderson of Albert City, Iowa; Weston Burkhardt of Cherokee, Iowa; Caitlin Casey of Emerson, Neb.; Cassie Gillette of Sioux City; Jesse Glade of Ocheyedan, Iowa; Brianna Harding of Council Bluffs, Iowa; and Taylor Mahin of Omaha, Neb. John Kolbo, a graphic design professor at Morningside College, accompanied the students.

At the two-day conference, students heard from graphic design and advertising specialists about networking, job seeking strategies, interviewing and career building. The students also attended creativity and design workshops.
