The Morningside College Symphonic Wind Ensemble will perform in concert February 23 in Eppley Auditorium,
The Morningside College Symphonic Wind Ensemble will perform in concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, February 23, in Eppley Auditorium, 3625 Garretson Ave. The event is free and open to the public.
The ensemble will perform a variety of music, including Dixieland music known as New Orleans Jazz and selections from the Faculty Jazz Combo.
The Symphonic Wind Ensemble will have just completed a regional tour with stops in central Iowa and near Omaha, Neb.
The Symphonic Wind Ensemble is under the direction of Shane Macklin, assistant professor of music at Morningside College.
