College to present Christmas at Morningside concert
Morningside College will present its 23rd annual Christmas at Morningside concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, in Eppley Auditorium on the Morningside campus. The concert is free and open to the public. Doors to Eppley Auditorium open at 6:30 p.m.
Morningside College will present its 23rd annual Christmas at Morningside concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, in Eppley Auditorium, 3625 Garretson Ave., on the Morningside campus. The concert is free and open to the public. Doors to Eppley Auditorium open at 6:30 p.m.
This year’s concert, “Amazing Peace,” is based off the Maya Angelou poem by the same name.
The concert will feature performances by several Morningside ensembles, including the Morningside Choir, Bel Canto Treble Choir, Morningside Singing Men, Morningside Master Chorale and Morningside Symphonic Wind Ensemble.
Conductors will be Ryan Person, assistant professor of music and director of choral activities; Shane Macklin, assistant professor of music and director of bands; and Nathan Hettinger, assistant director of choral activities.
