The Morningside College School of Visual and Performing Arts will present “American Soundscapes,” a concert featuring the Master Chorale, at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 24, at First Congregational Church.

The Morningside College School of Visual and Performing Arts will present “American Soundscapes,” a concert featuring the Master Chorale, at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 24, at First Congregational Church, 4600 Hamilton Blvd.

The concert is free and open to the public. It will feature the 20th-century choral music of Barber, Bernstein, Copland and Thompson.

The Master Chorale, sponsored by Morningside College, is a 60-member choral ensemble of Siouxland community members and Morningside College students. It is under the direction of Dr. Ryan Person, director of choral activities and assistant professor of music at Morningside College.
