Morningside presents 49th annual Jazz Festival
The Morningside University School of Visual and Performing Arts will present the 49th annual Morningside Jazz Festival on Feb. 9 – 11, 2022.
The Morningside University School of Visual and Performing Arts will present the 49th annual Morningside Jazz Festival on Feb. 9 – 11 at Eppley Auditorium on Morningside’s campus. This event is free and open to the public.
Over 40 high schools jazz bands from throughout the Midwest will participate in the festival, and Morningside’s M Avenue Jazz Ensemble will perform each day during the noon hour. Additional information including a schedule of performances can be viewed on the jazz festival page.
The Morningside University School of Visual and Performing Arts provides immersive opportunities for Morningside students and the Siouxland community to experience the power of music and the fine arts. All Morningside students, regardless of major, can audition and perform in ensembles and productions.
