The Morningside College Theatre and Dance Department will present its fall dance showcase at 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 6, in Klinger-Neal Theatre.

The Morningside College Theatre and Dance Department will present its fall dance showcase at 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 6, in Klinger-Neal Theatre, 3700 Peters Ave.

The event is free and open to the public.

Each semester the college puts on an informal show to highlight the dancing that has been happening at Morningside. There will be performers from the following courses: Modern I, Ballet I, Intro to Dance, and Applied Dance. 

The show will include choreography by Morningside College students Haley Clark of Sioux City and Ashley Mace of New Virginia, Iowa; artist faculty members Tracy Bennett and Melanie Bohle; and others. It also will feature second, third and fourth place winners from Iowa’s solo dance and color guard state competition.
