Morningside women’s golf dominated the two-day Mount Marty Invitational in Yankton, SD with a final score of 641.

Four out of the top five finishers were Morningside golfers. Maria Zorilla won her third meet of her collegiate career with a final score of 156 of 11 over par, Mikeala Livengood placed second with a score of 161, Laia Badosa finished third with a score of 162, and Maria Nava placed fourth a score of 163.  Along with the top finishers, Samantha Knight finished sixth with a 165, and finishing eighth was Alex Mankle with a 167 final score.

The Morningside women’s golf team will be back in action on Wednesday, Sept. 5 in Sioux City, IA at the Morningside Invite.
