The Morningside College Music Department will present a fall choral concert titled “Freedom Sings” at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26, in Eppley Auditorium.
The Morningside College Music Department will present a fall choral concert titled “Freedom Sings” at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26, in Eppley Auditorium, 3625 Garretson Ave.
The Morningside College Choir, Bel Canto Women’s Chorus, Singing Men of Morningside, and Morningside College Siouxland Master Chorale will perform South African Freedom Songs, spirituals, and songs expressing freedom and victory from oppression.
The Morningside College Choir is an auditioned choir. The Singing Men of Morningside performs music written for male choirs, and the Bel Canto Women’s Chorus performs music written for women’s voices. The Siouxland Master Chorale is a community chorus for men and women, including Morningside College students.
Admission is $5 at the door.
