Music professor performs in Hawaii and New York
Suzanne Hendrix-Case, assistant professor of music, recently performed with the Hawaii Opera Theater in Honolulu and the Potsdam State University of New York’s Crane School of Music in Potsdam, N.Y.
Suzanne Hendrix-Case, assistant professor of music at Morningside College, recently performed with the Hawaii Opera Theater in Honolulu and the Potsdam State University of New York’s Crane School of Music in Potsdam, N.Y.
Hendrix-Case performed the role of Filippyevna in Tchaikovsky’s “Eugene Onegin” with the Hawaii Opera Theatre. She appeared with the orchestra and chorus at the Crane School of Music for a performance of Prokofiev’s “Alexander Nevsky.” She also gave a master class while in Potsdam.
Hendrix-Case has performed extensively as an opera singer in locations ranging from San Francisco, Calif., to Vienna, Austria. She holds a doctorate in vocal performance from the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory.
