Morningside’s men’s bowling team had an eighth place finish at the two-day Clark Crusader Open.
Morningside’s men’s bowling team finished in eighth place at the Clark University Crusader Open held Feb. 7 and 8 in Dubuque, Iowa.
The Mustangs knocked down 8166 pins at the tournament, which consisted of six individual games and 16 Baker games.
The Mustangs’ top individual finisher was Austin Naylor, who finished in 27th place with an 1161-pin total. Dylan Malcom was close behind in 34th place with an 1121-pin total.
Midland won the team title with 9971 pins, followed by Ashford, 9068; Clarke, 9010; Viterbo, 8821; Waldorf, 8745; Iowa Central C.C., 8620; AIB College of Business, 8528; Morningside, 8166; Northern Iowa, 7762; Graceland, 7680; and Culver-Stockton, 7383.
