The Mustang women routed the Mount Marty Lancers 6-0 on Saturday in Yankton, S.D., lifting the team to 3-3-1 and 2-0 in the GPAC.

With 15 shots on goal from the Mustangs compared to the Lancers one during the match, the Mustangs scoring efforts allowed them to dominate. Junior Courtney Woodcock from Winterset, IA; sophomore Paytn Harmon of Rapid City, S.D.; senior Merle Bublitz of Burgwedel, Germany; and senior Kylee Goodvin of Sioux City, IA, each chipped in a goal to take a 4-0 lead to end the half.
In the second half, senior Makenzi Miller if Rapid City, S.D. and sophomore Alex Homan of Omaha, Neb. added two more goals to the Mustangs total with no answer from the Lancers.
The Mustang women return home for a matchup with Concordia on Wednesday, Sept. 26 at 5:30 p.m.
