Morningside’s dance team finished fifth at the NAIA Competitive Cheer & Dance National Championships.
Morningside’s dance team finished fifth at the 2018 NAIA Competitive Cheer & Dance National Championships held March 9 and 10 in Oklahoma City, Okla.
The Mustangs finished with a combined score of 83.50 points from Friday’s prelims and Saturday’s finals.
The Mustangs were also in fifth place with a score of 80.80 points after Friday’s prelims.
Morningside finished sixth at last year’s innagural NAIA Cheer & Dance National Championships.
St. Ambrose topped the 12-team field with a score of 89.21 to win the NAIA Competiive Dance National Championship.
Missouri Valley won the NAIA Competitive Dance National Championship with a score of 86.45 points.
