Morningside was picked eighth in the GPAC Women’s Soccer Coaches’ Pre-Season Poll.

Morningside College is picked for an eighth place finish in the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Women’s Soccer Coaches’ Pre-season Poll.

Morningside returns 14 letterwinners, including eight starters, from a team that posted a 5-12-2 record and finished ninth in the GPAC standings with a 3-6-1 league mark last season.

The Mustangs will open the 2015 season with a 5 p.m. contest against Waldorf College on Tuesday, Sept. 1, in Forest City, Iowa.
