Nick Baack and Caalyn Loehrs Dowling to perform junior and senior recitals

Bass clarinetist Caalyn Loehrs Dowling will perform her senior recital and baritone vocalist Nick Baack will perform his junior recital at Morningside College at 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 16, in Eppley Auditorium, 3625 Garretson Ave.
The performances are free and open to the public.
Loehrs Dowling will perform works by Antonio Vivaldi, Edward German, Alfred Reed and Eugène Bozza. Deanna Mumgaard will accompany her. Baack will perform works by Ralph Vaughan Williams, Johannes Brahms, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and John Jacob Niles. Jayne Koch will accompany him.
Loehrs Dowling is a music education major from of Lakewood, Wash. She is a member of the Symphonic Wind Ensemble and the Jazz Band at Morningside College. In the community, she is a member of the All-America Band. She aspires to become a high school band director near her hometown.
Baack is a music major from Lakeside, Iowa. He is a member of the Singing Men of Morningside at the college. He aspires to do studio work in the music industry.
