Erin Oliver was named a NAIA Competitive Dance honorable mention All-American.

Erin Oliver, a junior from Sergeant Bluff, Iowa, has been named a 2016 NAIA Competitive Dance honorable mention All-American.

The NAIA Competitive Cheer & Dance All-America teams were selected at the NAIA’s four competitive cheer & dance regional competitions, where athletes performed stunts in front of the qualifying competition judges and received scores based on the quality of their routines. The performers were required to accumulate a predetermined score in order to achieve All-America status.

Oliver performed at last Friday’s NAIA Competitive Cheer & Dance North Qualifier Competition in Fremont, Neb.

Oliver received NAIA All-America recognition for the second time in her Morningside career after she was named a NAIA All-American as a sophomore.

Oliver and her Morningside dance teammates will compete in the 2016 NAIA Competitive Cheer & Dance National Invitational on March 11-12 in Davenport, Iowa.
