Morningside College has entered into agreements with two chiropractic colleges that allow Morningside students to complete their undergraduate degrees while concurrently pursuing Doctor of Chiropractic degrees.

The agreements are with Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minn., and Cleveland University – Kansas City in Overland Park, Kan.

“These partnerships allow Morningside undergraduate students to earn both their bachelor’s and chiropractic degrees in seven years, which cuts one year off the usual time required to earn the two degrees,” said Dr. William Deeds, Morningside College provost. “This will be is a significant academic and financial benefit for Morningside students.”

Under terms of the agreements, qualified Morningside undergraduates can apply to either chiropractic school after the conclusion of their junior year. Credits a student earns during his or her first year of chiropractic school will complete a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology from Morningside.
