Alden Stout, assistant professor of philosophy at Morningside College, recently presented a paper at the annual Conversation on the Liberal Arts conference in Santa Barbara, Calif.
His paper was “Integrating Ethics and Economics: Rationality and the Common Good.”
The Conversation on the Liberal Arts conference gathers faculty and administrators from colleges and universities nationwide to address the challenges facing liberal arts education.
Stout joined the faculty at Morningside College in 2011. He has a doctorate from Purdue University.
