Matt Pitts is this week’s GPAC Men’s Golfer of he Week.

Matt Pitts, a senior from Cherokee, Iowa, has been named the Hauff Mid-America Sports/Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Men’s Golfer of the Week for April 14-20.

Pitts was the individual medalist with a one-over par 73 at the Hastings College Wild West Invite held April 18 in Hastings, Neb. He had a one-stroke victory margin in the individual standings over Shawn Rodehorst of Concordia University and Ben Vetrovsky of Hastings. The 73 was Pitts’ top score in 16 competitive rounds during this year’s fall and spring seasons.

The Mustangs will compete in the Mount Marty College Invitational on Thursday in Yankton, S.D.
