Hallie Misiaszek is the GPAC Softball Pitcher of the Week for the second week in a row
Hallie Misiaszek, a junior pitcher from Mitchell, S.D., is the Hauff Mid-America Sports/Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Softball Pitcher of the Week for March 19-25.
Misiaszek received the GPAC’s top pitcher award for the second week in a row.
Misiaszek won her only start of the week when she twirled a three-hit shutout in a 1-0 victory against Northwestern College in the Mustangs’ GPAC opener on March 20 in Orange City, Iowa. She walked two and struck out six while hurling her first shutout of the season. Misiaszek allowed only one hit over the last five innings after she pitched her way out of a bases loaded jam in the second inning.
Misiaszek has an 8-3 record with a 3.46 earned run average and has struck out 68 batters in 60.2 innings pitched.
