Danny Rudeen and Cameron Oakley are the recipients of the 2014 Robert “Bob” Miller Academic Male and Female Student-Athlete of the Year Awards.

Danny Rudeen and Cameron Oakley received the Robert “Bob” Miller Academic Male and Female Student-Athlete of the Year Awards at the annual Omicron Delta Kappa (ODK) Honors Assembly held April 2 at Eppley Auditorium.

The awards are presented in Miller’s memory by his family to the senior male and female student-athletes who have demonstrated outstanding academic and athletic performances during their Morningside careers.

Rudeen is a member of the Mustangs’ men’s basketball team and Oakley is a member of the Mustangs’ women’s golf team.

Morningside’s women’s basketball team received the Tommeraasen Award of Excellence for the year’s outstanding campus organization.

ODK is the national leadership honor society that recognizes and encourages superior scholarship, leadership, and exemplary character.
