“Live and Let’s Dye,” an exhibit of batik and tie-dyed fabric created by Morningside College students, is on display until Nov. 24 in the Hickman-Johnson-Furrow Learning Center, 1601 Morningside Ave.
This exhibit features the work of students in the Tie-Dye and Batik May Term 2015, taught by art instructor Amy Foltz and local artist Stephen Haas.
“These students, from across a broad range of academic areas, created beautiful and interesting fabric art,” said Terri McGaffin, associate professor of art. “Certainly an exhibit not to miss!”
May Term courses at Morningside are offered in an approximately three-week period immediately after commencement. The courses are designed to be innovative or experiential and are not offered during the regular academic year.
