Two Morningside College professors and their students recently presented at the 2016 Annual Conference of the Association of Collegiate Marketing Educators.
Marilyn Eastman, associate professor of marketing, gave a presentation titled “The Impact of Instructor Background and Delivery Modality on Student Ratings of Digital Marketing Instruction.”
Pam Mickelson, professor and chair of the business department, gave a presentation titled “Tools to Help Marketing Faculty Be Writing Coaches.”
Three students also presented at the conference. Eastman and her students Jenni Beaver of Sioux City and Caleb Ott of Westminster, Colo., gave a presentation titled “Brand Project: Innovative Student Research in Principles of Marketing.” Mickelson’s student Garrett Thomas of Kansas City, Mo., gave a presentation titled “Gender Stereotypes in Advertising.”
The Association of Collegiate Marketing Educators is a professional marketing organization founded to encourage exploration and development of superior marketing practices from an academic and practitioner perspective.
