Morningside College students Tara Meinen of Denison, Iowa, and Nikki Yablonski of Omaha, Neb., will perform their senior recital at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, in Eppley Auditorium on the Morningside College campus.

Morningside College students Tara Meinen of Denison, Iowa, and Nikki Yablonski of Omaha, Neb., will perform their senior recital at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, in Eppley Auditorium, 3625 Garretson Ave, on the Morningside College campus.

The students will alternate throughout the recital. It is free and open to the public.

Meinen will play a piccolo trumpet, an E flat trumpet and a B flat trumpet during the recital, performing pieces by Purcell, Haydn and Clarke.

A soprano, Yablonski will sing songs by Gounod, Korngold, Handel, Barber, Brown, Guenther, and O’Keefe. She will be accompanied by Jayne Koch.

Both Meinen and Yablonski are music education majors. Meinen will graduate in December, and Yablonski will graduate in May.
