Lexi Ackerman, Allison Bachman, and Jessica Tietz were named Daktronics-NAIA Women’s Basketball Scholar-Athletes.
Three members of Morningside College’s women’s basketball team were named 2016 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes.
The Mustangs’ Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes are:
Lexi Ackerman, a 5-10 junior guard from Rock Rapids, Iowa, who has a 3.53 cumulative grade point average (GPA) with a major in biology.
Allison Bachman, a 5-9 senior guard from Fremont, Neb., who has a 3.89 cumulative GPA with majors in advertising and graphic design.
Jessica Tietz, a 6-2 senior forward from Bancroft, Neb., who has a 3.64 cumulative GPA with a major in biology.
Student-athletes must be of at least junior academic status and have a minimum GPA of 3.50 in order to be eligible for Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors.
