The program is open to all students, regardless of gender, who share in the mission to support the advancement of women in leadership.

ABOUT
CONNIE WIMER
The leadership program is named in honor of Connie Wimer, an active Iowa business leader and member of the Morningside University Board of Directors. Wimer has championed leadership development for women and their advancement throughout her career. She is chair of Business Publications Corporation in Des Moines and was the first woman to chair the Des Moines Chamber of Commerce and to be elected to the Greater Des Moines Committee’s Business Hall of Fame. Wimer also is an inductee into the Iowa Women’s Hall of Fame.
